Quilters by the Sea
About Us

Quilters by the Sea Quilt Guild

Quilters by the Sea got its start in February, 2002 when seven local quilters got together to share their passion for quilting and decided to form a guild. Five years later the guild has over 40 active members and is still growing. We're happy to share information with other quilters around the world through our web site.

QBTS participates in various community activities including making and donating quilts to Habitat for Humanity, the Children's Home Society, families of fallen servicemen, and hospitalized veterans. This year marked the fourth in a row that members taught a children's quilting class at Ormond Beach Public Library. Members also individually donate quilts to their favorite charities. Current guild projects include a block-of-the-month and an annual quilt challenge.
