President's Message

Greetings to all Quilters!

We have had such an exciting beginning to the year. Our block-of-the-month is now complete and will be put together soon. I have seen the ones the members have made and was really impressed by all the wonderful variations that each member put into her own quilt. We are looking forward to the next block-of-the-month starting soon.

What a wonderful time we had with Margie Engel and her freehand quilting workshop in February. I know with a little practice we will all become old hands at that.

If you are looking for a friendly place to spend Friday mornings, please feel free to join us any time. We would love to meet you and see what great quilts you have. We meet at North Peninsula Baptist Church on Sandra Drive in Ormond by the Sea every Friday morning at 9:30 am. For a map and directions, go to www.mapquest.com.

"Rambling Rose"

This quilt was a group project by QBTS members. Specific members were assigned a block, then the blocks were put together by Norma Nuffer to complete the quilt. It was machine quilted. It will be raffled off in December at the QBTS annual Christmas party.
