You may notice we've added a new link: Quilt Qua, the new quilt directory. What in the world does "Qua" mean, you may ask? According to the dictionary: definition of qua "in the character of or capacity of". What it means to Connie Colten, the creator of Quilt Qua, is that the goal of Quilt Qua is to be an all encompassing information center for quilters and quilt business owners.

Take a look at the directory which offers complimentary listings for businesses including both physical and online shops, patterns, teachers, machines, quilting services, traveling and retreats, supplies, frames, quilts for sale and wholesale fabric lines. It also offers listings for quilt museums, guilds across the country, blogs and quilt shows. There is an extensive listing of articles about quilting, a show-and-tell feature, and links for other information.

Businesses have the opportunity to expand their listings to include additional information. If you have a business that needs to be included, just send an e-mail with the appropriate information, and it will be added. The same goes for blogs, shows, articles and anything else that would be of interest to quilters.

Connie is asking people to help, by adding information, sharing pictures of their beautiful quilts, checking/adding/deleting guild information so that it will be accurate, or by sending her articles or links to their blogs.
